I currently work at Singlecut Beersmiths in Astoria, NY every other weekend to provide live sound reinforcement for the artists and band we have perform there. This includes working with each act to ensure they have whatever they need to put on a good show for the night to seting up and testing our sound equipment on show nights before the band has arrived. I also set up monitor mixes and run FOH during the show. When I'm not doing that at Singlecut, I am working in the same capacity at other venues around Astoria and NYC.
My prior work had been an ongoing role with DeSales Media/NET TV as an audio engineer for their live broadcasts on cable channel 97. My responsibilities each week were to broadcast daily and Sunday Mass live from two large cathedrals in Brooklyn, NY (Cathedral Basilica of St. James and the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph). I also recorded special events held at St. Joseph's Cathedral whose recently renovated space has become a popular venue for concerts. One such example was the 9/11 Memorial Mass with a performance of Mozart's Requiem that included 100 vocalists and a 42-piece orchestra.
